Cassie's suspicions finally come to surface. You really thought that some guy could claim to be Iron Lad and not raise any suspicion? Iron Lad thought so and now he's facing STATURE and HER team of Avengers from the Initiative: Firechild, Centurion, Lionyx, Gold Flash, Dotermax and the new Iron Lad. All of this while the mysterious criminals known as "The Collateral," are hunting down all of the Young Avengers. Iron Lad must struggle with Cassie before his time and luck run out, and answer her big question: Where is THE VISION? But is he really Iron Lad anyway? The leader of the Collateral won't give them time but Iron Lad is determined in his mission.

Comment:
This solicitation things are like doing a fanfic but with less troubles. All of this plotlines and ideas I write in the solicitations are things that come up every time I wonder what if Iron Lad came back. They are probably not very original but they really are things that could happen. About the title of the story: MOVING ON (as seen in my last submission [link]) relates to each Young Avenger, and the team in general. The team has been kind of stuck since the first volume ended so moving on is and appropriate title for the intro story of volume 2. Also the "moving on" comes to cassie as she develops feelings for THE VISION and leaves Iron Lad; to Patriot and Hawkeye as leaders of the Young Avengers with teh return of the guy that started it all; to Wiccan about the fate of his boyfriend, Hulkling, Post-Secret Invasion; To Speed about his place in this team and family; And to Iron Lad, Nathaniel Richards... He has to keep moving on until he can finally be free from his fate: Becoming Kang.


And about the New Iron Lad I thought it would be a great plotline. I mean really, after the Initiative formed and a new wave of "young avengers" came there was bound to be someone calling himself Iron Lad.

BTW: I didn't color this one beacause after I saw the first cover to "NEW WAYS TO DIE" I realized I suck as a colorist.
